Well folks, 2016 is almost history and all the hopes and anticipation that come along with a fresh new year are starting to take shape. At Retracting Solutions, we are reflecting upon a wonderful year during which we were fortunate enough to do something we love. Providing our customers with the highest quality products and installation services to make their houses into homes where they can celebrate family and friends all year long makes us happy and thankful for great year. In the closing days of 2016, many families will be enjoying extra living and entertaining space in their homes thanks to the addition of retractable screens from Phantom Screens on their decks, patios, and porches.
The traditional New Year’s Eve song “Auld Lang Syne,” which means “for old time’s sake,” inspired us to share two projects we did this year on older homes. We have shared quite a few new construction projects with you this year, but retractable screens can be installed on existing homes and even historical homes. The first project pictured here is a remodel of a house in High Point that was built in the 1930’s. The photos show an addition made to the back of the home which has two large folding doors that open outward. We installed Phantom executive motorized screens on the inside. This is another example of how to finish a “nana wall” that we discussed in an earlier blog post this year.
The second set of photos offers a quick look at a somewhat older home in Pinehurst, NC that we completed this year. It shows four Phantom Screens Executive units which were surface mounted on an existing porch. Our customers were thrilled with the result. Whether you have a brand new home or an older home, we are confident that we can find an option that works for your space. Treat yourself in 2017 to some extra living space.
We wish all of you a peaceful and joyful holiday season!
