In our business, we work on all types of homes and with all types of homeowners, each with their own unique structures and requirements. We do everything possible to meet the wishes of the homeowners while working within the structural limitations of the home. There is not much that we can’t work with to transform a covered deck or porch into a space that is usable year-round.
We thought we’d share some photos of projects that feature Phantom Screens Executive recessed units. Screens mounted this way truly do appear to “come out of nowhere” when needed and remain completely hidden from view when not needed. This allows the homeowner to maintain the exterior look of the home with no visible mounting hardware.
You can see in the photos that recessed units can be installed in multiple types of openings. The first photos show a luxurious home with the screens installed in arches. The screens are completely hidden until it is time to use them. The other set of photos shows recessed units in a driftwood beige color. We chose that color to blend nicely with the homeowners existing paint color, stone, and trim work. Homeowners often enjoy impressing first-time guests by “magically” making these hidden screens appear just when they are needed to enhance the comfort of the outdoor space without changing the appearance of the structure.
